Sources reported that the European styrene markets were quiet on May 15th, and no offers were heard. There were no deals reported on the European Styrene Market. No offers were heard for the dates of May and June. Styrene liquidities were muted. A trader stated that "everyone is holding back". Styrene was said to be produced in Europe at a sufficient level. On the European benzene markets, no deals were concluded on that day. However, a reliable source stated that on May 14, a deal had been made at $1,185/mt, for any dates in May, for 1,000 mt.
