were stable during the week of June 21 due to a slowdown in demand, which is
typical for a season with low sales. Global polyethylene demand is expected to remain stagnant
until the end of 2023, as markets prepare for capacity expansions that have
been planned in advance. This will allow more product to be exported worldwide. By 2023, Asia would have added 6 million mt/year more PE
capacity than in 2022 when the demand started to decline amid high inflation
