The price of Asian toluene was stable or
even lower on May 9 due to the volatile energy market. During the Market on
Close, there were no transparent offers or bids. The toluene price was supported by a tight supply in South
Korea and China for June spot availability. Trading levels ranged from $850/mt up to $890/mt, FOB Korea. Trading sources reported that China was requesting goods,
