July FOB Korea deals done at July MOPK plus $16/mt / Exports of South Korea drop 18% in April

Asian benzene fell by $0.50/mt to $1,032/mt on May 16, a result of the strength in downstream markets for styrene Monomer. Upstream, front-month July ICE Brent Futures increased 23 cents/b compared to the previous session. The Asian close was $82.95/b. The C+F Japan mark for naphtha rose $7.25/mt in one day to $666/mt. The CFR China mark was assessed at $10/mt higher than the previous session. Three trades were made during the Market On Close process. A floating price agreement was signed between Gunvor & TotalEnergies for a July loading FOB Korea cargo, at the July weekly mean of Korea base (wMOPK), plus $16/mt.
