The CFR Taiwan price rose $927.50/mt due to higher crude oil and demand after
some refinery fires across North America. CFR China's price fell $2/mt from last week to $922/mt, on
May 19, due to higher crude oil prices and demand following refinery fires in
the Americas. In the US, Valero announced
a fire on May 17 at its West plant in Corpus Christi (Texas), while Marathon
