On July 5, Asian isomer grade mixed xylene increased $17/mt in a week, reaching $928/mt at FOB Korea, $942/mt at CFR Taiwan, and $947/mt at CFR China. This was due to a stronger demand for cargoes loading August than July, as well as improved gasoline margins, while crude oil futures upstream remain stable. The isomer MX markers, however, all fell $1/mt in the same day along with weaker downstream paraxylene. In Asian trade at 0830 GMT, September ICE Brent crude futures were up 87 cents/b on the day, to $87.50/b, while downstream PX was down $2.34/mt, to $1,037.33/mt,...
