India Styrene: A slight firmer price amid stable fundamentals / Upstream crude oil rises on the day to $80.56/b / Ex-tank Kandla offers at Rupee 102/kg

The CFR India styrene Monomer Marker is up $2/mt from the previous week to $1,159/mt August 16, maintaining the CFR China premium at $31/mt. CFR China's marker has been assessed at $6/mt less than the last assessment of $1,128/mt. Domestic discussions in India were slightly firmer this week at Rupee 102/kg, ex-Kandla compared to Rupee100/kg last Friday. One buyer's idea was stable for the week at CFR China + $30/mt. Most tradable indicators were set at CFR China + $31/mt. According to sources, the fundamentals of the styrene market remain unchanged compared to last week.
