Asian isomer MX was up $8/mt to $955/mt FOB
Korea. It was at $977/mt CRU Unv1 and $6/mt to $971/mt CRC China on March 13. Market on Close assessment witnessed a frenzy of
buy interest on March 13. An April-loading cargo was heard being bid up to $955-970/mt,
and then traded. One source claimed that the market was stable
and quiet, while another said it was long. The May ICE
Brent crude oil futures were valued at $83.01/b, an increase of $1.93/b at 4.30
PM Singapore time on March 13, while the PX prices rose $12/mt to $1,035.5/mt
CFR unv1/China. The spread between PX and MX remained stable,
increasing $4/mt to $80.50/mt during the day.
