polyethylene remained stable from the week ending March 22nd on thin trade. Grades certified by the
Global Recycled Standard (ISCC) could fetch prices of around 30% above prime
resin. This is because the specifications and requirements for each customer
were unique. Sources indicated that the
black HDPE blowmolding grades without certifications were offered at $200/mt
less than the natural grades. Market
sources say that certain global recycled standard grades are very popular
because of brand owner contract commitments. This has led to a somewhat bullish
outlook for these GRS grades. As recyclers
