Asian Glacial Acryl Acid: Prices rising as demand pressure increases / China's Taixing Sunke reduces Jiangsu A plant run rate by 45% / Asian propylene prices mostly lower July 29

The domestic prices of glacial acrylic acids in China were unchanged on the day but increased Yuan 150/mt over the course of the week to Yuan 7100/mt by July 30. This is based on a tradeable indication that was heard between Yuan 7,050-7200/mt. Market sources say that the GAA market is experiencing temporary tight supply, but there will be a gradual release in inventories. A company source stated that Taixing Sunke lowered run rates in its 480,000 mt/year acrylic acids plant in Jiangsu to 45% by mid-July.
