Market sources reported that US benzene
fell dramatically on June 12 as a result of continued low demand. DDP June benzene 309 cents/gal is down 18 cents
per day, and the lowest price for DDP front-month since January 9. DDP
front-month has dropped from 399 cents at the beginning of April. FOB for
June fell by 28 cents, to 309 cents/gal. This is based on both bids and offer. DDP fell to
299 cents/gal in July, while benzene dropped 20 cents per day. It was the
first time that DDP benzene in the forward month fell below 300 cents/gal since
December 19, 2022. Data released by the Customs on June 12 shows
that 2023 benzene exports have been trending...
