Asian isomer MX was up $5.50/mt to $993/mt
FOB Korea, $1,015/mt CRU Unv1 and up $2/mt to $983/mt CRU China March 30. According to a source, the strength of the
isomer MX market was due to the anticipated shortage in gasoline blending
components on the US gulf coast. However, the source was not able to
confirm details about the booked cargoes. A healthy
buying interest was evident during the Market on Close process. An April cargo
was heard being offered at $990/mt FOB Korea. The PX price
remained steady at $1,102/mt CFR UNV1/China. Meanwhile, the spread between PX
and MX narrowed by $4.50/mt to $109/mt using the CFR Unv1/China marker. Crude futures
