Caltex purchased 3,000 mt H2 June loading Isomer-MX at $890-910/mt from a
vendor during the Market on Close. A H2
June-H1 Jul spread was then offered at flat, but the company did not have
enough time to test market levels. A
trader stated that today is a South Korean holiday. "There are still
sellers of June but there is no seller for July, so we cannot call this
backwardation." No one took up an offer
of CFR Unv1, loading in July at FOB Korea plus 20/mt for 5, 000 mt and a letter
