Asian MTBE rose $6/mt on April 4 at
$1,008/mt FOB Singapore. ICE Brent crude futures rose $1.31/b on April 4, at
$85.52/b April 4. VITOL
SG offered $1,025/mt FOB Singapore to 2,000 mt for May 10-14 loading. VITOL SG
withdrew during MOC activity at 4:30pm. The
MTBE factor was unchanged at 1.167, and the FOB Singapore marker was set at
$1,008/mt on April 4. Sources said that
May cargo demand was strong in Asia. However, the arbitrage window to China is
closed as China's prices are unworkable. Sources
said that the Chinese domestic price was Yuan 7,650/mt Shandong. This is an
increase of Yuan 50/mt each day. The
RON97-RON92 crack, which was $3.56/b April 4, reached a 2023 low. Market
