The US ethylene spot market participation
increased on the day for EPC, and unchanged was for Choctaw. However, both
EPC & Choctaw were lower on Feb. 24. spot Feb. 25 at 22.5c/lb FD Mont
Belvieu February 25, up 0.5c. The assessment
was based upon a February Ethanol trade at 22.5 cents/lb. MtB-Pipe was
also heard twice. Forward month March Mont Belvieu ethylene was valued at
21.625 cents/lb. FD Mont Belvieu was up 0.375c on the day. The
assessment was based upon an indication for February/March at 0.875c/lb
MtB–Pipe. It also included a March bid at 2.25c/lb above Choctaw. Stable on
the day. Based on a February ethylene trading at 18.25
cents/lb Choctaw–Pipe, the assessment was flat on the day. Forward month
