European imports of naphtha reached their
lowest point since July 2020 following the Feb. 5 ban by the EU on Russian oil
products. The Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp hub imported 729,000 mt of naphtha in
February, down from 976,000 mt in January, according to Kpler shipping data.
Algeria became Europe's biggest supplier of naphtha, with 256,000 mt in
February, according to Kpler. From March
15 to April 9, maintenance will be performed on Kazakhstan's 6 million mt/year
Shymkent. From March 15 to April 9, maintenance will be
stopped at Kazakhstan's 6 million mt/year Shymkent. The spread
of the March/April CIF Naphtha Swap was up 50c/mt to $16/mt. April/May was down
25c/mt to $13/mt. May was up $1.25/mt and 75cs/mt respectively. The European
