German Mixed Xylene Prices declined in late February 2025 due to a weaker demand from downstream industries. Feedstock naphtha, on the other hand has seen some price increases. In the USA, Mixed Xylene has remained at the same price despite lower feedstock costs, and a decrease in demand from industries such as PET and phthalic hydride. This difference shows the different market conditions from one region to another. European prices were lower due to reduced industrial activity. US prices, however, remained stable despite a softening of downstream and feedstock sectors. Prices of Mixed Xylene continue to fall in Germany due to a lackluster demand from industries such as automotive and construction.
