A recycler reported that since June began, they've seen a "very strong increase" of demand for grades below MFI 1, mainly from southern Europe. This increase in demand, combined with "limited supply on the feedstock-side" has pushed up prices for higher quality grades. The market has seen a surge in demand for drinks, especially during the summer season. One trader said that bale availability was extremely limited, and recyclers wanted to fill their machines.
