European Recycled LDPE: Demand expected to remain largely stable in September / Bale market remains well supplied / Demand in agriculture sector expected to improve

The European recycled low-density polyethylene market saw steady demand in the week to Aug. 28, as market participants started to return from their holidays. Demand increases are anticipated for September, but this is not expected to be significant. "August was very quiet, but we are expecting better demand in September," a recycler said. "But this will still be at moderate to low levels." Prices have remained largely stable and will rollover from August to September. Bale demand has remained low, with the recycler saying: "The market is very slow but there are no availability issues." According to the recycler, industrial applications of R-LDPE have seen no demand.
