Spot European polycarbonate prices rose further in the week leading to July 3 despite weak demand due to fewer import material available. The DDP NWE extrusion grade polycarbonate at Eur2,200/mt July 3, unchanged on the day and up Eur30/ mt on the week, at the bottom end of a distributor's indication at Eur2,200-2,300/mt, pending further corroboration of higher levels, taking into consideration limited import volumes into the European market. the DDP NWE GP molding grade polycarbonate at Eur2,300/mt, stable on the day and up Eur30/ mt on the week, maintaining a stable spread to extrusion grade polycarbonate, pending fresh price indications.
