The spot European polycarbonate price remained stable in the week before Sept. 4. There was no sign of a significant increase in activity after the summer holidays. DDP NWE extrusion grade polycarbonate at Eur2,200/mt September 4, stable both on the day and the week. DDP NWE polycarbonate GP mold grade, Eur2,300/mt. This is in line with a distributor's indication. According to a source there was little import material headed for the European market. Production issues were not noted. Source: Any shipments from Asia to Europe could be delayed by one to two weeks. According to a source, BPA supplies have improved in the complex upstream after a period of relatively short market.
