Market sources reported that the LLDPE market activity was low due to the absence of most participants from the market during the holiday season. The European LLDPE market remained supply-driven despite the holiday season. The price of LLDPE grades remained on an upward trend due to the limited availability of materials throughout the week. The European LLDPE spot price for C4 grade was Eur1,170/mt at FD NWE August 14, an increase of Eur20/mt from the previous week.
