The market fundamentals for the European low density Polyethylene market remained unchanged during the week ending August 7, despite a subdued atmosphere due to the summer holidays in the region. The trading activity on the spot market continued to be minimal over the last week. According to sources, the majority of the European market was on holiday. The European LDPE Spot Price was Eur1,250/mt FD NEA Aug. 14 unchanged from the previous week. Availability of LDPE Grades had remained limited, and market sources continued to cite a lack of additional volumes.
