The European low density polyethylene markets saw differingavailability of grades in the week to June 12.Supply of LDPE grades with melt flow indexes were tightin availability over the week, contrasted by continued ampleavailability of LDPE film and foam grades due to imports.The LDPE MFI 0.3 grades were tight due to low domesticproduction and limited imports into the region, according tomarket sources. A trader stated that the LDPE market is a "two-tiered" one. "MFI0.3 is short and has a higher premium than film grades." The European LDPE spot price was EUR 1,180/mt FDNWE on June 12th, up EUR 30/mt from the previous week.
