prices were under pressure this week due to subdued demand. However, overall
European and local supply continued to be stubbornly long, further reducing
European prices. With
export prices remaining in the mid-$400s/dmt-to-$500/ dmt mark, CFR Med spot
prices were considered above that level. One
source indicated that delivered prices in some Southern European nations were
between Eur725-940/dmt. This clearly shows a difference in market fundamentals. The presence of cheaper imports was also evident and could
close any gap. This was due to the current
