steady at $950-970/mt. CFR NE Asia March 28 and $970-990/mt. CFR SE Asia March
28. Although
offers were heard at $960-970/mt CFR NE Asia and no bids were reported, there
were no reports of any. Market uncertainty
caused by volatile upstream naphtha price and persistently low downstream
margins for ethylene derivative products like styrene monomer, made buying
sentiment bearish. As April approaches,
market participants are waiting to see if some regional crackers will turn the
corner. The benchmark C+F Japan Naphtha
