European monoethylene prices continue to fall amid softer PET demand, and the perception of an oversupply. One trader said that it was difficult to raise prices. A distributor insisted that, after selling at Eur580/mt, it had to refuse to offer below. Producers admitted that the impact of US MEG productionoutages was no longer an impact on import resupply. A distributor stated that "an import vessel was cancelled but another vessel should have also been cancelled." Distributors have plenty of stock.
