According to a NortheastAsia based producer, China's import market was characterized by limited trading, as buyers took a wait-and see attitude. The sources said that the market was under pressure. They also noted that demand for PV panels had been sluggish. The producer said, "I think $1,170/mt (for high-grade EVA) is tradable but buyers are hesitant because they expect further price drops." Another market source agreed with the producer's observation, saying that prices will continue to fall as demand is weak.
