The Asian ethyl vinyl acetate market remained stable to weakin the week to Sept. 11.high EVA grade CFR China unchanged on theday and on the week at $1,070/mt, considering weak demand,while medium EVA grade was flat day on day but down $10/mt week on week at $1,140/mt Sept. 11, below an offer heard at$1,150-$1,180/mt. "Price [has remained] unchanged for weeks," a Chinesedomestic trader said.Market sources echoed the sentiment that EVA producers arefacing weak demand and are producing low density polyethyleneinstead for convertible factories.Meanwhile, Zhejiang Petrochemicals continues to produceEVA products, including high VA-content solar panel grade,despite the poor price.
