The Asian ethyl acetate market was quiet this week, as the major players have completed their October cargo sales. A producer in Asia said, "We've finished our October sales... [looking now at November offers] and are considering raising the price." A second big producer also indicated the same position in the market, with increased trading activity for higher grades of VA. A producer in Northeast Asia said, "October sales have been completed. We did not sell any lower VA content grade." High EVA grade China CFR up $10/mt for the day, and $20/mt for the week, at $1.220/mt. This is based on a trade price of over $1210/mt. Medium EVA China CFR stable at $1.110/mt.
