End users continue to purchase H1 June requirements Unv1's CPC wants 70,000 mt naphtha by May 16 - June 30 delivery / South Korea's Lotte Chemical is seeking naphtha to be delivered in H1 June

Market sources reported that the Asian naphtha market remained stable on April 25 as end users sought supplies for H1 June, while fundamentals of demand and supply remained unchanged. Brokers maintained the same backwardation structure, setting the May-June mean of Japan naphtha exchange time spread at $11/mt during midmorning Asian trading on April 24. This was unchanged from the previous day. Cash differentials will be higher due to the strong complex. Physical time spreads are also expected to widen. In the morning Asian trade on April 24, the H1 June/H2 Jun time spread increased to $3/mt. A North Asian end-user stated that demand will likely rebound as Chinese crackers return to production following scheduled turnarounds.
