Asian butadiene was stable for the day and the week, at $1.450/mt FCL China and $1.500/mt FCL Northeast Asia on April 19, amid a firmer domestic China. The buying appetite of end-users continued a downward trend in the week ending April 19, after some secured deepsea shipments for the June laycan. The demand for cargoes of Asian origin remained strong, despite the tight supply. Several trading sources reported trades FOB China at $1.440/mt. $1.445/mt. and $1.450/mt. The sources also said that some cargoes were likely to be shipped to South Korea. However, this was not confirmed as of the date of publication.
