market was stable in the week ended April 19, with fundamentals balanced and
upstream activity quiet. The
upstream styrene markets have been quiet, despite a potential arbitrage
opportunity in Europe. Kpler shipping data
shows that a number of small styrene shipments have been observed leaving the
Gulf Coast area over the last week. Most were headed to Europe. The spot price remained stable despite these movements in
the week ending April 18. On other
markets, US butadiene spot pricing was stable as market participants noted a
