The Chinese market is taking the lead as
crude oil markets rebound from the dip of the previous week. As of the Asian close at 0830 GMT on May 8, the
ICE July Brent contract was up $3.06/b from day to day, reaching $76.42/b. According to
a producer, the demand for spot cargo is low even though buyers usually
consider their June needs at this time of year. Upstream,
