outlook for MEG in Asia was mixed due to rising costs and lukewarm consumer
demand. According to sources in the
market, new MEG supplies are estimated between 1 million and 2 million mt/year. According to market observers, Asia's MEG demand is growing
at a rate of around 4 million mt/year. The
net deficit is around 8 million tonnes/year and has remained relatively
constant year-on-year. One market
