US spot exports of acrylonitrile have
fallen slightly since a week earlier on May 30. Demand was mixed, and the spot
levels of propylene also declined. On
May 30, an export market indicator was heard at $1,365/mt F.O.B. USGC. Further
confirmation is awaited. Spot exports were
down $5-6/mt for the week due to feedstock propylene movements and recent
feedback on slow ACN prices. Upstream, the
June spot polymer grade propylene price was 35 cents/lb USG on May 30,
unchanged from the previous day and 0.25 cents lower than a week earlier. ACN source: "Not much is happening here." This
