The FOB Korea mark was 33 cents/mt less at $1,047.67/mt on May 7. The ICE Brent front-month contract dropped 8 cents/b from the Asian close of $83.54/b. Meanwhile, the C+F Japan naphtha marker was down $2.25/mt for the day to $677.875/mt. The styrene CFR China mark was $2/mt less than the previous day, at $1157/mt. The majority of market discussion was at a level similar to that heard during the Asian close. OQ Singapore purchased a 3,000-mt June loading cargo from TotalEnergies on the FOB Korea Physical Market for $1,054/mt. Brokers reported that a deal was concluded for $1,051/mt on the same loading laycan. On the paper market, June was the contract most discussed.
