The Asian toluene price fell from day to
day, June 19, in line with the lower naphtha and downstream markets. The rangebound crude session kept buyers and
sellers at bay. Market on Close did not feature any transparent
offers or bids. Sources said that there were some reports of
cargoes from China being sold at $900/mt CFR Singapore, and another 10,000 mt
for $860/mt FOM China, but the details couldn't be confirmed. Sources said
that sellers were selling in the $880/mt range FOB China. Industry
sources reported that buyers were still considering Southeast Asia. Sources said
that although a 5,000 mt loading spot for any July was available, the price
