Asian vinyl acetate prices were stable despite a lack of trading. Discussions for February-loading cargoes in the Chinese AA Market were at $340 to 350/mt FOB China. Sources said that the discussion for domestic AA in east China was similar to the previous week at Yuan 2.730-2,800/mt. However, the majority of the transactions were at Yuan 2.750/mt. AA FOB China is up $5/mt from last week to $345/mt. CFR Southeast Asia was up $5/mt while CFR Far East Asia was $20/mt more expensive over the same time period, at $440/mt vs $445/mt respectively. The Asian VAM market was stable due to low trade volume. East China's domestic prices were steady at Yuan 5,700-5800/mt (ex-tank) or $690-$703/mt based on import parity. Spot offers in SE Asia were $750/mt, CFR SE Asia....
