Asian toluene prices were steady to
slightly softer March 9, according to crude oils, upstream naphtha, and
downstream aromatics prices. Two separate tenders for a 2,000
mt toluene and 1,000 mt solvent mixed xylenes cargo were closed today, trading sources
stated. Sources said that the toluene cargo was sold at
$920-$930 per mt and solvent mx at $950-$960 per mt. Sources said
that the cargoes were heading towards India or blenders in Singapore. "China
