FOB Singapore up $27.50/mt week on week at $977.50/mt May 26 due to bullish
demand and active market activity seen over the week. During the Market on
Close assessment process May 26, SK Chemical offered at $991/mt for 2,000 mt
loading over June 24-28 and Trafigura offered at $994/mt for 2,000 mt loading
over July 1-5 at the close. However, no trades happened during the MOC process
May 26 and the FOB Singapore marker was assessed below the offers at a fixed
price of $977.50/mt. Both offers were higher when marked against the MTBE
factor of 1.330 and the intraday notional value of $987/mt. Although the MTBE
