The Asian benzene
markets have seen a decline in buying interest, mainly due to weak demand for
benzene downstream. Trade opportunities with the US remain mixed. ICE Brent crude
futures slipped towards the lower ranges of $80s/barrel at 4:30 pm Singapore
Time. They were at $83.54/b. Two open
deals were done at $985/mt, and then at $980/mt. The bids for June laycan were $982/mt at the close of the
session. On April 19, the FOB Korea marker was $987.33/mt, a decline of $26/mt
