Crude Oil drops over 2% due to US Inventory Build-up

The price of crude oil fell by over 2 percent on Friday. This erased gains that had been made throughout the week as investors struggled to deal with an increase in US inventories. The concern over Russian supplies and the possible extension of the voluntary output reductions by OPEC+ (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries & Allies) was overshadowed. The uncertainty surrounding the Ukrainian peace agreement also affected crude oil prices. Polymerupdate Research's data revealed that Brent crude futures on the Intercontinental Exchange for delivery in the near term fell by 2.68 per cent, or US$2.05 a barrel, on Friday. This was down from US$76.48 a barrel the day before. The decline ended a winning streak of four days, and liquid fuel fell to its lowest price for two weeks....
