sources estimate that east China's inventory fell by 20,000 mt, to around
150,000 mt during the week ending March 29. Despite the news of decreasing inventory, domestic China
markets showed mostly rangebound movements throughout today. In related markets, meanwhile, the upstream benzene FOB
Korea marker rose $2/mt on the day to $958/mt, and the downstream polystyrene
and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene markets rose $10-$20/mt. At the Asian close (0830 GMT), the May ICE Brent crude oil
futures contract climbed 42 cents to $78.95/b.
