China's EDC imports in March fell 56% month-on-month | Asia EDC/VCM sentiment is weak due to falling PVC

week-on-week at $300/mt CIF Far East Asia, and $320/mt CIF Southeast Asia on
April 27. Due
to limited trading interest, discussions on spot prices were rare. Due to high ethylene feedstock prices, sellers were
reluctant in selling spot cargoes. On
April 27, CFR Northeast Asia ethylene prices were stable from week to week at
$920-940/mt. The falling downstream market
also impacted the buying appetite. China's
ethylene Dichloride Imports in March fell 55.7% compared to a month ago but
soared 772.2% compared to a year before to 26,620 mt, according to data from
the China Customs Statistics Information Center released on April 24. This was
