China reaches lowest level since February 2 | Asia Butadiene-Naphtha Spread at 2-Month Low

Due to weak demand, the spot prices for
Asian butadiene dropped $20-$30/mt between April 6 and April 10. CFR China butadiene was $20/mt lower than April
6, at $1,080/mt on April 10. This is the lowest price since February 2, when it
was at $1.020/mt. According to market sources, China's Sinopec
reduced its local list price by Yuan 200/mt from Yuan 8,500/mt on April 7. This
is a cut of $1,072/mt based on import parity. According
to data from, the local China spot price fell Yuan 100/mt and Yuan 8,500/mt. China's
spot trades continued last week, but there were no price agreements. Participants
