Due to low demand and high supply, Asian
styrene monomer price trends continued to trend downwards on April 10. Yuan 80/mt, or $10/mt per day, fell in domestic
east China ex-tanks prices. These prices mostly exhibit a backwardation
structure based on H2 April laycans and June laycans. FOB Korea
styrene was $1,095/mt while CFR China styrene was $1,100/mt. Although
there were some exports from the northeast Asia region, they did not help ease
