Asian MTBE prices rise on strong demand- The demand to remain firm in the next week- This week, 45,000 mt of Chinese grain was tradedMTBE FOB Singapore was up $27.50/mt on the
previous week to $977.50/mt, due to active market activity and bullish demand. During the Market on Close
process on May 26, SK Chemical provided $991/mt to load 2,000 mt over the
period of June 24-28, and Trafigura provided $994/mt to load 2,000 mt over the
period of July 1-5. The MOC assessment
process on May 26 saw no trading and the FOB Singapore marker at $977.50/mt was
