Asian ABS prices stable over last week amid flat demand | Spread between CFR China and CFE SE Asia markers narrows | Prices in China remain stable

Asian ABS prices stable over last week amid flat demand- Spread between CFR China and CFE SE Asia markers
narrows- Prices in China remain stableAsian acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene
markets were flat in the week to May 31 amid no major change in demand. ABS CFR China remained at
$1,225/mt while the Southeast Asia market followed China's marker. East China's domestic prices were also stable and stayed
around Yuan 9,500-10100/mt, which is approximately $1,115-1,185/mt when
compared to import-parity. A producer
stated that buyers are still waiting for prices to drop further. This results
in no improvement of demand. Source:
"Ideally CFR Southeast Asia price would be higher than CFR China prices,
but because of the competitive prices offered by China's domestic suppliers,
