Asian MMA/PMMA bearish due to fall in crude- We
have heard fewer offers for MMA- PMMA prices dropMMA CFR China (MMA CFR China) and MMA CFR
Southeast Asia (MMA CFR Southeast Asia) were unchanged from week to week at
$1.300/mt and 1,550/mt, respectively, on March 22. PMMA CFR China fell $90/mt
to $1,740/mt, while CFR Southeast Asia dropped $90/mt to $2,190/mt in the same
time period. Sources said that little
change was seen in the MMA market as there has been weak demand and fewer
offers due to weaker ICE Brent futures. Due
to the low operation rate and the scheduled turnaround maintenance in Spring,
prompt MMA supply is still considered limited. A trader stated that the market has not seen significant
